Hello Year 3's
Week 11 of home-school work
This week we thought we would include some Mymaths for you. It's completely up to you and your parents whether you complete it or not but we thought some of you may like it for a change or as an extra. You should find your username and password in your reading record but if any of you have trouble finding them just email and we can send you details.
Talking of reading records, we really hope you are managing to keep up your daily reading. There is a reading folder on here with some great resources in to keep you reading regularly. Remember you can do a mix of reading on your own, reading aloud and sharing a book with a family member. Take turns reading the narrator or characters' parts and adding some fab expression like we do in class during guided reading.
I have been logging on to ttrockstars and have been amazed at the heat maps. So many children have changed from red to yellow/green for their times tables and that's down to regular practice and hard-work so well done. It is really hard at the beginning but regular practice will help you succeed I promise! I must give a shout out to Joseph who has persevered so much and with great determination is whizzing though the levels. Your heatmap is looking great Joseph - Well done you superstar!
Wow, I think I have been talking a bit too much in this week's letter !
Looking forward to seeing your smiley faces soon.
Love Mrs Windmill xx
