Community Engagement on new build at The Curzon Church of England
We are delighted to share some details regarding the exciting building project at The Curzon Church of England. We have ambitious plans to share with you for substantial improvements to the school, involving developing the site to provide us with new facilities for the children.
Many of you may be aware, we have secured 106 Section funding from Derbyshire County Council and the sale of land at Kedleston Grange. This will fund redevelopment of a large part of the school, replacing 2 classrooms with 2 new classrooms and improving the school hall. New toilets and washing facilities
This news is truly transformational for The Curzon Church of England, our staff and our pupil. Children will have the opportunity to be taught in a building that is both welcoming and sustainable, creating a 21st century learning environment for them to thrive and prepare for their futures.
This investment into The Curzon Church of England Primary School will support us in driving forwards our ambition for a better future for our young people and our community.
The Governing Body at The Curzon Church of England’s Governing Body strongly supports the plan to rebuild our school. They share the view of the senior leadership team that the current site is poor in its condition and the children deserve the best and this new build has been designed with us to ensure this.
